what lies ahead

i cannot know.

what's at the end of the rainbow

it's the thing that i want to know

step by step i take.

although i may step on a thorn

and walk with a bleeding foot and hand

still, step by step i walk

from the beginning

till the end

i'm sure that there's something for me

waiting

quietly

for me to come and pick it up.

for the journey that i had gone

for the steps that i had taken

step by step

till the end of the rainbow

i'll walk.
